It's all love from baristas to taxi drivers in the Granite City when it comes to Aberdeen, at least according to new signing Stefan Gartenmann.The Dane became Aberdeen's 13th summer signing when he joined from FC Midtjylland on deadline day, with the defender bolstering their back-line on a season long-loan deal following a generally horrific start to their campaign.No wins this season has seen Barry Robson's side slip as far as joint-bottom in the table on just two points, compounding by dropping out of the Europa League to BK Hacken.

But with a Conference League campaign on the horizon and a chance to redeem themselves in the Scottish Premiership, Gartenmann is basking in the positives on his move to Pittodrie, claiming that it's all love in the city, from getting around town to enjoying a coffee.

He told Red TV: "It was very busy and very stressful but I eventually have got to Aberdeen so it was all worth it. I heard of the interest several months ago and we stayed in contact as it is not always that easy to make a deal just like that."But from the first time I heard about it I was very excited and when I spoke to the people at the club it seemed like they really wanted me which was an extra motivation for me to come here."I kind of wanted something different.

I have been playing in the Danish league for many years and felt like I needed a new breath of air. I have heard a lot about Scottish football in the past from players who have played here and I can already feel the passion from a taxi driver or even a barista in the city.
