American actor Chris Pine has been spotted touching down into Scotland this weekend, as the star was snapped at Glasgow Airport on Sunday. The actor, best known for his role as Captain James T Kirk in the rebooted Star Trek film series, dropped into the Glasgow arrivals lounge earlier this afternoon from London Gatwick Airport. The star looked relaxed and comfortable donning sunglasses, a blue overshirt, white vest, grey trousers and white sandals - carrying one piece of luggage and a white food bag as he strutted through the airport. The actor recently appeared in exciting adventure and fantasy film, Dungeons & Dragons: Honour Among Thieves - a movie based on the popular role-playing tabletop game.It is unclear why Chris has arrived back in Scotland this time around, with his last visit coming back in 2018 when he was filming Outlaw King, a Netflix drama based on the life of Robert the Bruce.Chris previously told how he enjoyed filming in Scotland, and even kept up the local dialect after filming for The Outlaw King.

The star told The Graham Norton Show how he continued to use the accent he learned for the role after filming each day.He said: "I figured I'd get crucified for it but I had a wonderful voice coach and the cast were all Scottish so I figured they would pick me up on things.

I am not a method actor, but I would keep up the accent in the pub after filming."When talking about his love for the nation, Chris said: "I stayed at this lovely mini castle just outside Glasgow all summer.

Then we were shooting in Talisker Bay. "We travelled two hours through the bush in the Highlands and came out in this valley, which opened up to a beach with huge cliffs on either side and waterfalls crashing into the water.
