South Lanarkshire Council cracks down on underage vaping

South Lanarkshire councillors have welcomed the progress that’s been made to target youth vaping after branding it an ‘epidemic in schools’.At this week’s education resources committee, elected members expressed concern over the increasing number of under-18s vaping, which has significantly risen in recent years.In South Lanarkshire, it has been reported that there’s been an 18-fold rise in disposable vapes from January 2021 to April 2022.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
