An SNP MP has denied a report he is mounting a leadership challenge against party Westminster chief Ian Blackford.The Times claimed Aberdeen South MP Stephen Flynn had informed party officials of his intentions to lead the group in the House of Commons.Blackford’s position has been the subject of speculation after he was criticised for his handling of sexual harassment allegations against MP Patrick Grady.The report stated that supporters of Flynn, first elected in 2019, believe he has enough support from colleagues to topple Blackford.But Flynn shot down the Times' story in a tweet: "As much as I love seeing photos from the days when I was still clinging on to some hair, I can confirm I’ve no intention of standing."To sign up to the Daily Record Politics newsletter, click here.
