Shocked Edinburgh residents wake to horror 'screams' after woman allegedly stabbed
dailyrecord.co.ukEdinburgh residents have spoken of their shock after hearing 'screaming' following an alleged stabbing.Muirhouse Park was taped off by police after a 43-year-old woman was reportedly seriously assaulted at around 5.20am on August 14.Emergency services attended and was rushed to hospital for treatment of her injuries.
Locals said cops have been since in the area carrying out investigations with forensics spotted scouring the scene.Speaking to Edinburgh Live, retired local Wullie Adams, 66, said: "I don't even know when it happened or started.
I'm surprised because I am involved in the community and no words have been spread - nobody knew what was going on."When you see someone in a white suit you know something is wrong.
It's just so strange."All the neighbours know each other in the wee six blocks.
