Shia LaBeouf to Make Stage Debut in L.A. Production of David Mamet's New Play

Shia LaBeouf is heading to the stage. The 37-year-old actor has joined the cast of the new play Henry Johnson, a world premiere production from playwright David Mamet.

The new play “follows the plight of a man after an act of compassion upends his life.” Also starring in the show are Evan Jonigkeit in the title role, plus Oscar nominee David Paymer and Dominic Hoffman.

The L Word: Generation Q showrunner Marja-Lewis Ryan is directing. The play will be performed at The Electric Lodge in Venice, Calif.
