Manchester Pride 2023 has arrived in the city-region just in time for the August bank holiday weekend and it’s jam packed full with plenty of things to do.
As one of the country’s biggest celebrations of the LGBTQ+ community, the event will be far from quiet and will feature huge parades of colour through the city centre, activist talks, late night parties and live entertainment.
The city has already started celebrating Pride already but official proceedings will take place from Friday (August 25) to Monday (August 28). This year’s line-up is as diverse as it gets and is made up of 96 per cent of queer performers. A large focus on the bill has also been given to women, people of colour, those in trans and non-binary communities and allies.
