Amanza Smith is opening up about life-threatening spine infection. Amanza then underwent a second six-hour surgery, where doctors placed a titanium mesh cage in her back. “I am an iron woman, with rods and screws,” Amanza joked. Amanza‘s recovery at home now includes six more months of antibiotics along with physical therapy and treading lightly for the time being. “There are so many things I can’t do, because I can’t lift more than five pounds,” Amanza explained. “Sometimes my purse is too heavy.
