The most expensive streets to live on in Scotland have been revealed - and all of the top 10 are located in Edinburgh.The Scottish capital is known for having among the highest property prices in the UK, with new research confirming that some streets in particular will set buyers back more than £1.5 million on average.According to the Bank of Scotland, Ann Street in Stockbridge is the priciest street in Scotland, with properties fetching an average of £1,685,000 on average between January 2017 and September 2022.
It is known for its stunning aesthetics and classic Georgian architecture, and is considered one of the most desirable and prestigious residential addresses in Edinburgh.
It was also said to be the Queen Mother's favourite street in the capital. Following in second place, with an average property price of £1,615,000, is Wester Coates Avenue west of the city centre.
Meanwhile, in third place is Regent Terrace on the upper south side of Calton Hill, where a house will set you back £1,529,000 on average.Rounding out the top five are Danube Street in Stockbridge and Heriot Row in the city centre, where properties cost an average of £1,449,000 and £1,331,000 respectively.
