Bill Lumsden, who has worked on Scotch whisky brands Glenmorangie and Ardbeg.Beyoncé was also believed to have a large influence in the design of the brand's bottle, which features ribbed glass and a black medallion with a bronzed horse, believed to symbolise qualities of strength and respect, as well as a nod to her Texas roots.But it wasn't long following its release that Outlander star Sam Heughan spotted the resemblance to his own Sassenach whisky, which was released in 2020.The Scottish acting star's tipple, which has won a slew of awards, was inspired by the beautiful Highlands in a nod to his time on the hit Starz show as Jamie Fraser.
