Salvation Army bring Christmas joy to over 650 East Kilbride kids living in poverty

More than 650 East Kilbride children living on the breadline will wake up with a gift to unwrap on Christmas morning thanks to the kindness of strangers.Volunteers from the Salvation Army East Kilbride worked hard to make sure vulnerable children didn’t go without this Christmas.After an overwhelming response to this year’s Salvation Army Toy Appeal, a mountain of donated toys and gifts were delivered to underprivileged kids to make sure that no child in East Kilbride faced a bleak Christmas.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
