Ex-Liverpool star Sadio Mane's new wife Aisha Tamba has broken her silence on the couple's arranged marriage and has vowed to remain humble as she says she won't be changed by the wealth or fame of her husband.
Aisha, 18, tied the knot with the 31-year-old forward in an Islamic arranged marriage ceremony in Keur Massar, near Dakar, Senegal, on January 7 as the couples marriage sparked controversy across social media according to reports in the Mirror. The 18-year-old is set to swap her life in Dakar where she was living with up to 30 relatives and move to Mane in Saudi Arabia, where her husband Sadio plays for Al-Nassr alongside footballing legend Cristiano Ronaldo."I am looking forward to my new life and I know that it will be very different," Aisha said speaking through a relative to the Mail Online. "But I do not feel any pressure because Sadio’s fame and money will not change me.
This is not what I’m interested in. I will remain a humble person committed to my faith."She continued: "I’m not used to having so much attention on me because we are a very private family.
We don’t like to show off and speak about our personal lives. "I am a very down to earth person, this is how I was raised, and nothing will be different just because of this marriage.
