Ross McCausland signs new Rangers contract and vows to repay Philippe Clement by starring at Ibrox for YEARS to come

Ross McCausland has ended speculation over his Rangers future by signing a new contract through to 2027. The 20-year-old has been one of the breakout star's of Philippe Clement's early days in charge and has featured in every competitive game but one, either starting or off the bench.

His existing deal was due to expire at the end of this season and Record Sport revealed interest from Brentford in the Premier League while Serie A clubs were also said to be circling.McCausland would have been available for a bargain £350,00 compensation deal had he left without signing a new contract.

But any move to take him away from Ibrox will now need to be for serious cash as the club have announced he has put pen to paper on a new deal.
