Rose McGowan Addresses Friendship With Shannen Doherty & Expresses a Regret
justjared.comRose McGowan is opening up about the late Shannen Doherty. The 50-year-old star, who replaced the late actress on Charmed when she left the WB show in 2001, opened up about their friendship on the August 22 episode of Let’s Be Clear.
During the appearance, Rose expressed if she had any regrets. Keep reading to find out more… “[If] I have any regrets, I wish I could have gotten to know her sooner,” she said. “I don’t know how that would have happened, but I wish we could have.” She added that she and Shannen both shared an outsider status, and preferred directing to acting, as well as elaborating on their shared dislike for “corporate feminism… like slogans and fake activists and people that are just doing it for the clicks and the glory but without putting in actually the work and the trauma that it takes to do that work.” “She lived life on a grand scale with gusto.
