Robbie Williams was forced to pause a gig over the weekend as he told fans he was suffering from the effects of long Covid. The singer, 49, was performing at Pinkpop festival in the Netherlands on Saturday June 17th when he temporarily paused his performance, telling the crowd: "No, stop stop.

I'm f**ked. I'm f**ked." The former Take That star - who recently sold a property portfolio worth $44million - paused things just before he was set to launch into his fourth song ‘Monsoon’, before he signalled for his band to stop playing and was seen bending over to catch his breath.

He continued: "It's long covid, I've got long covid. It's not my f**king age, you f**kers!" Luckily, Robbie was able to return to his show shortly after taking a few moments to rest and the rest of the performance went smoothly. The star is believed to have previously had Covid on two occasions.

He first contracted the virus in April 2020 while in Los Angeles with his wife Ayda Field, 41, and their four children: Teddy, ten, Charlton, eight, Coco, four and Beau, three.
