Ricky Gervais
Ricky Dene Gervais (born 25 June 1961) is an English stand-up comedian, actor, writer, film producer, director and musician. He is perhaps best known for creating, writing and acting in the British television series The Office (2001–2003). He has won seven BAFTA Awards, five British Comedy Awards, two Emmy Awards, three Golden Globe Awards and the Rose d'Or twice (2006 and 2019), as well as a Screen Actors Guild Award nomination. In 2007, he was placed at No. 11 on Channel 4's 100 Greatest Stand-Ups and at No. 3 on the updated 2010 list. In 2010, he was named on the Time 100 list of the world's most influential people.

Ricky Gervais, the star and creator of 'After Life', has shared his reasons for not marrying or having children with his long-term partner, Jane Fallon.The pair have been together for nearly 40 years and have chosen to follow their own unique path in life.

Ricky is famous for his sharp wit and successful sitcoms, often drawing from his relationship with Jane for inspiration. His hit Netflix series 'After Life' left many fans teary-eyed as it follows Tony (played by Ricky), a reporter grieving the loss of his wife Lisa.

Ricky revealed that the show's concept was inspired by his own relationship with Jane. Speaking on BBC1's The One Show, he said: "The first thought I had was what if you lost everything?

You could do what you want and it would have no consequences. I had to think, 'Well what is losing everything?' and to me it's your soulmate, your life partner.
