Rebel Wilson Files Countersuit Against 'The Deb' Movie Producers

Rebel Wilson is hitting back at the producers of her movie The Deb with a countersuit after they filed a defamation lawsuit against her.

For those who don’t know, Rebel made her directorial debut with the movie and also stars in it as well. The drama all started after Rebel accused the producers of misconduct, embezzlement, and attempting to block the movie from premiering at the 2024 Toronto International Film Festival.

They then filed the lawsuit and she hit back by calling it bogus. A couple weeks ago, Rebel publicly called out the movie’s star Charlotte MacInnes, claiming that the actress changed her story of allegations against the producers to get a new job from them.

In a new lawsuit against The Deb producers Amanda Ghost, Cameron Gregor and Vince Holden, Rebel accused them of “theft, bullying and sexual misconduct.” Keep reading to find out more… THR reports that Rebel claimed that Ghost had sexually harassed Charlotte and “forced MacInnes to live in her Bondi Beach penthouse apartment with her,” where “Ghost took a shower and a bath with MacInnes.” The lawsuit also claimed that the producers inflated the budget of the movie and split the extra money between them. Rebel‘s lawyer said in a statement, “Amanda Ghost, Cameron Gregor, and Vince Holden attempted to manipulate the narrative by recklessly filing an outlandish lawsuit.
