dailyrecord.co.ukQueen of the South fans got to meet their derby winning heroes on Monday. The League One club held an open training session at Palmerston and let supporters in to watch manager Marvin Bartley put his squad through their paces.
After the team had completed their drills they met with fans to take pictures and sign autographs. The session came the day before children went back to school and came off the back of the South’s 3-1 win over local rivals Annan Athletic on Saturday.
Meanwhile the club has confirmed a new date for Stephen Dobbie’s testimonial. The match against Scotland Legends will take place at Palmerston on Sunday, January 7 with a 2pm kick off with the squads to be finalised.
