Princess Anne made a cutting comment which shows her true feelings behind Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's departure from the Royal Family.The Princess Royal shared her views on her brother King Charles' plans for a more-slimmed down monarchy while speaking to CBC earlier this year as she indicated that the decision may have already been made before certain senior royals stepped down from their duties.Referring to said members, Anne spoke about her brother's plans as she stated: "Well, I think the 'slimmed-down' (monarchy) was said in a day when there were a few more people around to make that seem like a justifiable comment."The Duke and Duchess of Sussex quit royal life back in January 2020 to start a new life in California while the year before disgraced Prince Andrew was forced to step down after his car-crash Newsnight interview with Emily Maitlis.Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip have also both passed away in the last two years, with Anne admitting that her world has "changed" since the death of her parents, the Express reports.Referring to the small group of working royals, Anne said: "I mean, it doesn't sound like a good idea from where I'm standing, I have to say.
