Prince Harry
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Prince Harry to make 'olive branch' phone call to King Charles as he celebrates 75th birthday

King Charles celebrates his 75th birthday today and will mark the milestone by spending time with close family - including wife Camilla, son Prince William, Kate Middleton and their three children, as well as his sister Princess Anne.However, one name is absent from the list, and that’s his youngest son, Prince Harry.Despite Harry not being there on his father's big day, he is said to be set to make a phone to the King to send him well-wishes.According to reports, the King will be having a low-key celebration “with his closest family and friends at Clarence House”, amid claims Harry had been invited, but would not be attending.

Instead, he would be at home in LA with wife Meghan and their two young children - Archie, four, and Lilibet, two.For that reason his birthday wishes would be sent via telephone, writes the BBC.

The phone call could be seen as an olive branch, after claims that Harry had been snubbed and was not included in the birthday plans.

One royal insider told The Sunday Times that Charles had a “twinge in his heart” over his estrangement with Harry, and while there are issues “that aren’t resolved”, the monarch is “taking a long-term view”.
