Prince Harry reportedly had a frosty three-word response for football legend David Beckham after the star turned up to show his support at the Invictus Games in Australia. The pair had previously enjoyed a strong connection, with Victoria and David even opening their sprawling six-bedroom Beverly Hills home to Meghan Markle before her royal wedding.

However, it seems their friendship may have simmered somewhat, and royal commentator Emily Andrews has revealed a particularly icy encounter from 2018 between the pair during the esteemed Invictus Games in Sydney, an event personally extended by the Duke of Sussex, 39, himself.

This was meant to be a highlight of the Sussexes' first official tour of Australia, reports the Express. However, the atmosphere shifted when David arrived in Sydney only to find that Harry appeared to be avoiding him.
