In his latest biography Catherine: Princess of Wales, royal author Robert Jobson reveals that Mike Tindall also has a rather unfortunate nickname."Tindall, who is the husband of William's cousin Zara, is affectionately nicknamed 'Shrek' by Royal Family members including the King, after the children's movie cartoon character," he writes.These endearing nicknames can sometimes serve a practical purpose too.
Prince Harry was often dubbed "Spike" by his pals during his younger years, a nickname he used as an online alias when exploring social media.
Harry's elder brother William was frequently called "Wombat" by his late mother, Princess Diana, a name that has seemingly stuck around.
