Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Prince Harry's reputation was 'saved' by royals before Meghan left it 'completely tanked'

Prince Harry's public image has "completely tanked" since he and his wife Meghan Markle stepped down from their roles as senior royals according to a royal commentator.Writer and broadcaster Esther Krakue claims that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were so adamant that they wanted to perfect their public image but the more they try to, the more they fail to win them over.In a discussion that ranged from Meghan's political ambitions to the Sussexes' team allegedly 'gagging' a school, Ms Krakue told Sky News Australia that the royal family and their coverage of Prince Harry is what "saved" the public's perception of him.

She added: "Ever since he’s left and he’s been completely in charge of his image, alongside his wife Meghan Markle it’s completely tanked, the Express reports."And it just shows that sometimes actually having the protection of people you may not always agree with is a blessing more than a curse."The news comes as the Duke is said to reportedly want his "old life back" while Meghan Markle is determined to remain in the US on a permanent basis.According to Commentator Mark Board, Harry "longs" for his friends back home and would love a residence in London so that he can make visits back to the UK more often.The 39-year-old Prince has returned to the UK a handful of times since his dramatic exit from the Firm in 2020 but every visit he has made this year has been on his own.The royal is believed to have stayed in a hotel during his whistle-stop visit to London last month for the WellChild Awards after the King forced him to hand back the keys to Frogmore Cottage earlier this year which was his former UK residence.However, the expert claims that Meghan is not so keen to return to the UK and feels "frustrated"
