Meghan, Duchess of Sussex (born Rachel Meghan Markle; August 4, 1981) is an American member of the British royal family and former actress. Prince Harry
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, KCVO ADC (Henry Charles Albert David;15 September 1984) is the younger son of Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales and is sixth in the line of succession to the British throne. Harry was educated at Wetherby School, Ludgrove School, and Eton College. He spent parts of his gap year in Australia and Lesotho. He then underwent officer training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He was commissioned as a cornet (second lieutenant) into the Blues and Royals, serving temporarily with his brother Prince William, and he completed his training as a troop leader. In 2007–08, he served for over ten weeks in Helmand, Afghanistan, but was pulled out after an Australian magazine revealed his presence there. He returned to Afghanistan for a 20-week deployment in 2012–13 with the Army Air Corps. He left the army in June 2015.

Police in the US have released a statement on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle claiming they were in a "near catastrophic car chase" after leaving an awards ceremony.The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had attended the star-studded bash in the Ziegfeld Theatre, New York, on Tuesday when they were reportedly chased by half a dozen paparazzi vehicles in a "relentless pursuit" which lasted more than two hours, a source told the Mirror.

The New York Police Department said in a statement: "On Tuesday evening, May 16, the NYPD assisted the private security team protecting the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.“There were numerous photographers that made their transport challenging.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex arrived at their destination and there were no reported collisions, summonses, injuries or arrests in regard.”The source added: "Last night, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and Ms Ragland were involved in a near catastrophic car chase at the hands of a ring of highly aggressive paparazzi."This relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians and two NYPD (New York Police Department) officers.“While being a public figure comes with a level of interest from the public, it should never come at the cost of anyone’s safety.“Dissemination of these images, given the ways in which they were obtained, encourages a highly intrusive practice that is dangerous to all involved.”The ex-working Royals had left the ceremony in New York in their SUV alongside a police escort, but according to reports, the couple was soon swamped by paparazzi who followed their tail on motorbikes, cars and electric scooters forcing them to adjust the route.They were diverted to NYPD’s
