Police shut off road after man collapses in street

A road in Stockport was cordoned off by police after a man suffered a 'medical emergency'. Police and paramedics were called to Stopford Street in Edgeley at 9.20am on Monday.

The man was later taken to hospital. No further details of the incident have been released, but a witness told the Manchester Evening News the man had collapsed in the street.
