Police launch murder investigation after man dies following 'large scale disturbance' outside Printworks

A murder investigation has been launched after a man died following a disturbance near the Printworks. Police descended on Dantzic Street in Manchester city centre shortly after 8pm this evening to reports of a disturbance involving a 'number of people.' A 60-year-old man suffered an injury and died at the scene, GMP confirmed. He has been taken into custody where he remains. A large police cordon is currently in place outside the Printworks as police carry out their investigations.
