Police issue update after boy, 17, seriously hurt in stabbing

A man who was arrested after a teenager was stabbed in the street in Trafford has been released on bail, police have confirmed.

The 17-year-old was stabbed on The Quadrant on Great Stone Road in Stretford at around 4.30pm on Thursday (November 23). He was rushed to hospital from the scene with serious injuries.

Greater Manchester Police launched an investigation and an 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of section 18 wounding.
