Perth teacher has been nominated for a School Superhero award as part of a national campaign to recognise staff working in schools.
Principal teacher at Pitcairn Primary School Mrs Sharlene Burns was nominated by Jennifer Stalker, whose children attend the Bridgeton Brae school.
The award is backed by Perth -based fintech company Miconex and gives families until August 31 to nominate their school superheroes who have made a positive contribution to their community.
All school superheroes are eligible to be nominated for an award, including teachers, teaching assistants, catering and lunchtime staff, administration teams, caretakers, coaches and volunteers.Speaking on Mrs Burns’ outstanding dedication, Jennifer said: “My son Danny was taught.
