Christine McGuinness has gone it alone as she presents her first solo documentary. The model and autism campaigner spent last year filming her new film which will see her reveal how autism in women and girls has been ignored and misunderstood by science and society, leaving thousands of women undiagnosed.

Christine McGuinness: Unmasking My Autism, which airs on Wednesday night (March 15), also sees Christine, 34, go on a journey of self-discovery as she explores her autism.

The former Real Housewives of Cheshire star also discusses her marriage to Top Gear presenter Paddy, with whom she shares children nine-year-old twins Leo and Penelope and youngest daughter Felicity, six, who all also have the developmental disability caused by differences in the brain that affects how people communicate and interact with the world. On 22 July, Christine and Paddy announced that they were calling it quits on their 15-year relationship. In a joint statement, they said: "We hadn't planned on sharing this publicly until we were ready but after the lack of privacy surrounding our personal life, we feel left with no other option but to clarify. "A while ago we took the difficult decision to separate but our main focus as always is to continue loving and supporting our children.
