Oh Sees have changed their name to Osees and announced a new album, entitled ‘Protean Threat’.The latest version of John Dywer’s psych outfit have also shared the first single from the new project, entitled ‘Dreary Nonsense’.

Clocking in at a minute and a half, hear it below:Fans of the band will not be surprised at the name change; since Dwyer expanded the project to a full band, they’ve worked under the names Orinoka Crash Suite, OCS, Orange County Sound, The Ohsees, The Oh Sees, and Thee Oh Sees.The band released ‘Facestabber’ as Oh Sees in 2019, while Dwyer shared ‘Bug on Yonkers’ under his Damaged Bug moniker earlier this year.‘Protean Threat’ will be released September 18 via Castle Face.Osees released an all-caps, abstract and angry.
