North Lanarkshire councillors mark this year’s National Care Day

North Lanarkshire councillors have marked this year’s Care Day. To help celebrate the event, North Lanarkshire Council’s Education and Families team asked care experienced young people - whether they were looked after at home, in kinship care, foster care or residential - to speak about what care meant to them.Care Day is the world’s biggest celebration of people with care experience and this year it was marked on Friday, February 16.

The term 'care experienced' refers to anyone who has been or is currently in care.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
