Orlando Bloom
Orlando Jonathan Blanchard Copeland Bloom (born 13 January 1977) is an English actor. He made his breakthrough as the character Legolas in The Lord of the Rings film series, a role he reprised in The Hobbit film series. He gained further acclaim by appearing in epic fantasy, historical, and adventure films, most notably as Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean film series. Bloom subsequently established himself as a leading man in Hollywood films, with roles such as Paris in Troy (2004) and Balian de Ibelin in Kingdom of Heaven (2005). He currently stars in the Amazon Prime Video series Carnival Row (2019–present).

Noel Gallagher to be added to National Portrait Gallery

Noel Gallagher is set to go on display at London’s National Portrait Gallery later this year.The photograph of the Oasis legend, taken by photographer Zoe Law, will go on display for the first time as part of the gallery’s ‘Legends’ exhibition on November 29.The portrait will then be added to gallery’s permanent collection once the exhibit comes to an end on March 2, 2025.The musician said he was “thrilled and honoured” to be among the portraits, according to a press statement.He added: “The thought of the portrait of a grumpy middle-aged man, who frankly hates having his picture taken, being permanently displayed for future generations to marvel at is very special.

Thanks and praise.”A post shared by ZOË LAW (@zoelawlondon)The portrait will be displayed in a black and white collection of photos that also includes England World Cup winner Sir Bobby Charlton, a never-before-seen picture of Sex And The City star Kim Cattrall and Lord Of The Rings actor Orlando Bloom.London-based photographer Law shared: “It is the greatest honour that my portrait of the legend Noel Gallagher has been acquired by the National Portrait Gallery – a lasting legacy that all portrait photographers and artists dream of.”It comes on the heels of Oasis’ reunion tour announcement, tickets for which completely sold out after hundreds of thousands of fans were held in long queues for hours.The dynamic pricing which increased with demand also took many fans by surprise.In response to the huge demand, Oasis announced on Wednesday (September 4) that they would be playing two extra shows at Wembley on September 27 and 28, but this time with much stricter rules in place for the ticket sales.They have since shared more details about the private ballot.
