Nicole Scherzinger takes inspiration from Little Mermaid with 'sea-themed' concert gown
ok.co.ukIt seems like American singer Nicole Scherzinger couldn’t get enough of the Disney inspiration as she took to the stage to perform at the historic Coronation concert.The former Pussycat Dolls lead singer performed her own rendition of Disney's Mulan theme song, but her Disney inspo didn’t stop there, with her gown giving serious Little Mermaid vibes.The sea-themed blue gown was made up of a deep royal blue velvet skirt that draped from her hips and trailed onto the stage, as the risqué asymmetrical skirt skimmed one hip and dropped below the other.There was more blue velvet across her bust, draped in a twisted style that was reminiscent of traditional royal gowns.
But it was her bodice section that was giving a major ‘underwater’ theme.The sheer light blue panelling across her midsection was covered in a repeated pattern that looked almost like coral and swept across her body between her skirt and bust, showing off her incredible figure.
The strapless gown was complemented by Nicole’s accessories and styling, with her long dark locks swept up in a trending half up half down style featuring a high ponytail, whilst the rest of her hair trailed down her back in loose waves.
Her makeup was oozing classic glamour, with a metallic silver smokey eye, dark brows, and a glossy nude lip. Nicole wore several large diamond rings on her fingers, while small heart-shaped pendant earrings dangled from her ears.The look was completed with a v-shaped diamond necklace, with several diamonds dangling from it.The Masked Singer judge had previously teased her jaw dropping gowns over on her Instagram on Saturday, where she revealed several dresses that she’d been fitted for before choosing her final look for the evening’s performance.
