Ireland-born actress Coughlan is hosting a spin-off of History’s Secret Heroes titled History’s Youngest Heroes. From Nelson Mandela to Audrey Hepburn, the Derry Girls breakout will share jaw-dropping tales of heroism, deception, and acts of bravery and resistance.
Fear singer Allen is partnering with her old friend, the presenter Miquita Oliver, on Miss Me?, in which the lifelong pals will get together twice a week for transatlantic catch-ups (Allen lives in the States) discussing pop culture, politics, music and more.
Notably, the show is the debut BBC commission for News Agents podcast producer Persephonica, which is run by the BBC’s Brexitcast creator Dino Sofos. “Lily and Miquita have defined pop culture,” said Sofos. “Our listeners have grown up with them – on their screens and soundtracking their lives.
