The company also unveiled an “add a home” option in August, which asked users in the Dominican Republic, Honduras, El Salvador and Guatemala to pay an extra $3 monthly fee if they stream through a TV or TV-connected device located outside a primary household.
The password-sharing crackdown will roll out in the U.S. during the second quarter.Additionally, the company said it would be shuttering its DVD business after 25 years, shipping the final discs to customers on September 29.
