Neighbours bosses announce soap will return in 2023 just five months after being axed

Neighbours will be returning to our TV screens in 2023. The Australian soap is going to be available to watch on Amazon Freevee next year - just five months after it was axed.Producers say the show will be back in production within months and that old episodes will also be uploaded to the streaming site for people in the UK and US.In Australia, it will return to its home of Network 10, where it has aired for the past 36 years.Favourites such as Stefan Dennis as Paul Robinson, Alan Fletcher as Karl Kennedy, Ryan Moloney as Toadie Rebecchi, and Jackie Woodburne as Susan Kennedy will be returning.As The Mirror writes, talks between Freemantle and Amazon were prompted by the huge fanfare over the show’s demise this summer.Now Amazon says it is in the “early stages” of planning the next chapter of the show.
