The plot revolves around Lucy, who is accidentally transported back to 2003, the year her unknown sister was murdered.The film is packed with references to early noughties fashion, trends and pop culture, which may trigger bouts of nostalgia among viewers.Antonia Gentry and Madison Bailey, stars of the film, have already discussed some of the throwbacks featured in the movie.
In a clip shared on Netflix's social media, they react to a retro pink Motorola Razr, referring to it as 'an actual fossil' and jokingly calling it their 'mom's phone'.
But that's not the only relic from the past that makes an appearance in the film. Here are some other noughties throwbacks we noticed, reports the Mirror.In one scene, Lucy proves she's from the future by showing off her 2024-era phone, which another character assumes must be worth at least a million dollars.
