manchestereveningnews.co.ukA man accused of murder has told a jury that his co-accused admitted he had ‘cheffed’ the victim three times. Noraiz Kamal, 18, is one of five men on trial accused of murdering Sadiq Al-Lami in Didsbury earlier this year.
Mr Al-Lami, aged 30, was stabbed 11 times during a fight on Kingsway after a ‘high speed pursuit’ involving his and another Mercedes, jurors at Minshull Street Crown Court previously heard.
The altercation broke out after a black Mercedes C200 containing five men parked next to Mr Al-Lami's grey Mercedes E220 after 1am on January 23 this year.
Sultan Bakr, 22, Sikander Babar, 24, his brother, Abdul Babar, 19, Noraiz Kamal, 18, and Yousaf Ahmed, 24, all deny the charge.
