Mum and dad charged after son, 3, dies in 'dangerous dog' attack

Two people have been charged in connection with the death of a three-year old boy who was attacked by a dangerous dog. Daniel Twigg died after being injured in the incident in Tunshill Lane, Milnrow, Rochdale, on May 15 2022.

His parents, Mark Twigg, 42, and Joanne Bedford, 36, both of King Street, Radcliffe, have now been charged with gross negligence manslaughter.

They are due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on July 31.
