Singled Out star Randal Malone has sadly passed away at the age of 66 after a long fight with kidney disease. The actor, known for his roles in numerous low-budget films and as a 'film star' on the iconic 90s MTV dating game show, died at Valley Presbyterian Hospital in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, following a lengthy battle with kidney disease.
Born in Kentucky in 1958, Randal's interest in showbiz was sparked when his father, a car racer, introduced him to Marty Robins and Patsy Cline during their racetrack visits.
After earning a bachelor's degree in theatre from Murray State University, he made the move to LA and was even named the 'Most Promising Actor in Hollywood' by the Southern California Motion Picture Council - a non-profit organisation that he had been leading as president since 2004.
Randal also gained recognition for his role as Gaylord in the 1996 film Sunset After Dark, alongside Margaret O'Brien and Anita Page.
