Motherwell chief executive Alan Burrows says it has been a 'costly and damaging 24 hours' as the club assess flood damage caused at Fir Park.Pipes froze as temperatures dipped to as low as minus-12, then burst after temperatures suddenly rose, resulting in flood damage in several areas of the stadium.That resulted in postponement of their Premiership clash against St Mirren yesterday, for which the club was expecting a bumper crowd.Burrows admits Motherwell face a race against time to have the stadium able to host Friday's clash against Kilmarnock, but says staff are working around the clock.Speaking on Saturday evening, Burrows told BBC Scotland: "It has been a fairly costly and damaging 24 hours for us."When it comes to the game we had schedule to go ahead today, we had hospitality that was sold out, we were expecting a big crowd, both from the home stands and travelling through from Paisley with St Mirren."Given that it has been five weeks since the last game I think we were anticipating quite a big crowd, so that in itself will be probably very costly."By the time we get round to rearranging the game I dare say it will probably be a midweek, which is obviously going to have an impact on both hospitality and the crowd."There has been significant damage all across the stadium and we haven't yet quite assessed the true extent of what that is going to cost us, but it's certainly not going to be cheap, either."Not only is it going to be very time-consuming but also quite expensive for us as well, unfortunately."Burrows added: "I think what we expected was as the temperatures picked up there were areas of Fir Park frozen that I've never seen frozen before."For example, we've got a 35,000-litre irrigation tank that
