Jimmy Kimmel
James Christian Kimmel (born November 13, 1967) is an American television host, comedian, writer, and producer. He is the host and executive producer of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a late-night talk show that premiered on ABC on January 26, 2003 at Hollywood Masonic Temple in Hollywood, California; and on April 1, 2019, at a secondary home, the Zappos Theater on the Las Vegas Strip. Kimmel hosted the Primetime Emmy Awards in 2012 and 2016, and the Academy Awards in 2017 and 2018.

Metallica revive Helping Hands benefit concert with Jimmy Kimmel as host

Metallica have announced details of their 2024 Helping Hands benefit concert and auction with Jimmy Kimmel serving as the host.Set to take place on Friday, December 13 at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, the charity concert and auction will raise money for the band’s All Within My Hands Foundation, which focuses on workforce education, the fight against hunger, disaster relief, and other causes.The band previously hosted a Helping Hands benefit concert back in 2022 which saw them raise $3million for the organisation.

The likes of Robert Downey Jr, Tony Hawk, St. Vincent, Greta Van Fleet made appearances at the event.“We’re psyched to announce we’re adding one more show to the calendar this year,” the band wrote in an Instagram post. “Our @allwithinmyhandsfoundation’s Helping Hands Concert & Auction returns to Los Angeles.” At the time of writing, the event’s line-up has yet to be revealed.A post shared by Metallica (@metallica)Ticket pre-sales for the event will begin tomorrow (July 24) at 10am PDT for Legacy members and at 12pm PDT for Fifth Members.
