Met Office weather forecast as more heavy rain to hit Greater Manchester this weekend

It was a largely rainy day in our region yesterday (Thursday), though snow did fall in some northern and eastern areas including Oldham and Bolton.
A yellow Met Office weather warning was lifted at 6am this morning (Friday) with forecasters now predicting largely wet weather for today and across some parts of the weekend.
From lunchtime, heavy showers are forecast in Greater Manchester through much of the afternoon. It will feel warmer than yesterday though, with the mercury reaching highs of 9C later on.
