Met Office makes unexpected Greater Manchester weather prediction

The good news is that it doesn't appear to be ending just yet, with the Met Office predicting a warm weekend. Despite a few scattered showers overnight - with some suspecting more throughout Saturday - it's set to be a whole different story.
Today is expected to be fine and often bright day with sunny spells and cloudier periods, perhaps with the odd shower further north.
It's expected to feel cooler and less humid than recently but still warm in the sunshine with a light westerly breeze. Highs of 21C.
