Fast food giant McDonald's is raising the price of five much-loved items due to the worsening cost of living crisis sweeping across the country.
Consumers visiting one of the more than 1,200 stores across the country will have to pay more for some items that used to be thought of as cheap options, including the previously-99p Mayo Chicken.
The fast food chain has said the price hike has been driven up by rising food and energy prices "like many other businesses".
It's important to note that prices may vary across different restaurants due to some being operated by a franchise. While the company can recommend how prices should be set, the final decision is up to the franchise itself.
