McDonald's crew prove they're a tidy outfit with local litter pick in Hamilton

An eight-strong team of crew members and helpers from McDonald’s restaurants in Hamilton have been doing their bit for the local environment with a litter pick.The team from the town's restaurants collected an impressive 10 bags of rubbish between them during the litter pick in a bid to keep their local areas tidy, which included the Hamilton Palace Park and around the Mausoleum.McDonald’s Franchisee, Andy Gibson, who owns and operates the restaurants in Hamilton, and who organised the event, said: “I couldn’t be prouder of my fantastic team for giving their time to their local community, ensuring the areas we all enjoy are clear of litter – making them a better and brighter place for those that live here.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
