Ayrshire McDonald's employees go the extra mile for charity
Ayrshire went the extra mile for charity as they took part in the ‘MAP THE MAC’ initiative to help raise money for Ronald McDonald House in Glasgow.The six restaurants — in Irvine, Kilmarnock, Kilmarnock Bellfield Interchange, Ayr, Straiton and Stevenston — collectively raised £7,683 for Ronald McDonald House Glasgow after covering a total of 7,355 miles between them.Franchisee Andy Gibson, who owns and operates four of the six McDonald’s restaurants across Ayrshire that took part, said: “Supporting Ronald McDonald House Glasgow has always been important to myself and my team.“We want to offer our help wherever we can so that they can continue offering such a valuable service to families in need across Scotland.“MAP THE MAC was a brilliant
