Martin Lewis has issued an urgent warning to homeowners across Scotland and the rest of the UK. It comes following the recent closure of a prominent double-glazing company.

The Money Saving Expert shared updates about Everest 2020's fall into administration on his X account, formerly Twitter. As reported by Birmingham Live, he tweeted: "Double glazing firm Everest 2020 falls into administration, your rights.." He continued: "Everest, also referred to as 'Everest 2020', collapsed into administration on Wednesday 24 April 2024, with business advisory firm ReSolve brought in to supervise the process.

No buyer could be found for the complete business, resulting in most of Everest's employees being made redundant, although certain assets are set to be sold off to competitor Anglian Home Improvements." We recently had our roof redone on a guarantee and it includes 3rd party insurance, in case they go under. Hindsight is 20/20.."Adding their own unfortunate experience with the company, another customer vented: "No surprise.
