Liam James Payne (born 29 August 1993) is an English singer and songwriter.
He rose to fame as a member of the boy band One Direction.
Payne made his debut as a singer when he auditioned for the British television series The X Factor in 2008. After being eliminated as a solo performer, he auditioned again in 2010 and was put into a group with four other contestants to form One Direction

When Kieran and Kristina took to the sofa during the commitment ceremony, the pair confessed that they had an argument, which was exacerbated by Kristina’s Premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD).
As Kristina got emotional, she said: “It was the worst feeling ever. And no matter how much you try and fight it, when you are in that moment, it feels just dark and horrible and I think what makes it worse for me is I know how it affects Kieran.” As the pair delved deeper into their moment at the retreat, Kieran then sadly admitted: “I’m really questioning at the minute, if I’m able to sustain a relationship with someone that suffers with PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder).” Fans were completely horrified by Kieran’s admission.
