The midfielder has reportedly agreed personal terms with the club over a summer move. United still, however, have to agree a fee with Paris Saint-Germain, with the French giants reportedly demanding a fee of €70 million (£59m) got the player.
If United are successful in their pursuit, he will become the third arrival of the transfer window. United have confirmed the signings of Joshua Zirkzee and Leny Yoro, from Bologna and Lille, respectively, this week. He first re-posted a story from a shop in his native Uruguay, thanking the midfielder for his custom. Ugarte then reposted a reel from personal trainer Agustin Marandino, which shows him undergoing several different drills to get ready for the new season.
